Marklets
Marklets make surfing the web quicker and easier by reducing the number of keystrokes, mouse clicks and mouse movements usually required.
How do they work?
- You highlight text on a web page. Be it a word, a phrase, an address, a tracking number, etc.
- Click a Marklet stored in your Favourites / Bookmarks / Tool bar.
- A page immediately opens already showing the results of your lookup.
- If you didn't make a selection then the Marklet will prompt you to enter search text.
it is as simple as that. They even work on sites like Yahoo Mail and GMail* !!
* Using Internet Explorer some GMail accounts do not work.
Give it a go...
There are several flavours for you to choose from:

I want Marklets in my browser!
Certainly, and it is easy peasy to do:
- Right click on your favourite Marklet above.
- Select either:
- Add to Favourites...
- Bookmark this Link...
- Accept the security warning if you get one. Marklets from Spinnette are 100% good guys.
- Then click: Ok or Add or something positive like that.
- Your new Marklet is now ready and waiting in your Favourites / Bookmarks. I suggest moving them to your tool bar to make them even quicker to access.
In some browsers you can simply drag the Marklets and drop them on your toolbar.
Marklets are great!
Yes I know, I use them every day. If they make your life just that little bit easier, then tell your friends so their lives can be easier too!
If you would like me to make a Marklet for your favourite website. Then all you gotta do is push this button and ask:
If in the unlikely event a website changes their URL interface - 'not really' - it is pretty usual that things change once in a while. Your Marklets may stop working. And in this situation le'me know by pushing the button.
In this world of freedom of expression every flavour of web browser interprets the internet differently. This means that Marklets may not work for you. If this is so le'me know and I'll try get them working for your browser too.
Can I make my own Marklets?
Yes you can! If you'd like to give it a go then push this button:
Wow look at all the spare time I now have due to Marklets
Well I'm glad to hear it. My work here is done.
A donation of any kind to show your appreciation and to keep Marklets alive will have me simply be leaping and bounding with joy.
